The most common feedback we get about Autumn is that, "she simply get's it." or that, "Autumn understands me in a way that no-one else ever has." And when it comes to being an effective trauma coach that is no suprize.
She has become a trauma coach and dependency coach after a quarter of experience of work and study in the area. Over twenty five years ago, she overcame her own dependency and has personally fought subsequent battles with CPTSD from adverse childhood experiences, ADHD, domestic violence and narcissistic abuse. She has been working, studying, training and helping others on that journey ever since.
As a Two Spirit, Metis Lesbian, she has fought for safer spaces where she and people like her, could bring their whole selves. She is an advocate who has been fiercely pursuing equity, inclusion, success and freedom for herself and other brave healing people , wellness, business, and life.
As an Internationally Certified, Professional, Highly Trained, Trauma Informed, Wellness Coach, Dependency Awareness Facilitator, Trauma Specialist, and Interventionist, she has made it her personal mission to foster a sense of resilience, diversity, equity and inclusion in wellness circles and within the delivery of wellness services.
As an honoured service provider, leader and consultant to many different organizations she has been presented with the opportunity to participate in a variety of mandates aimed toward reducing poverty, creating opportunities for wellness and increasing overall wellbeing. In these trusted positions, she has learned a great deal and worked with some absolutely amazing individuals while doing everything from hosting international conversations for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and meeting with leadership and political parties, to advocating for Metis and Indigenous rights and participating in front line outreach to the unsheltered population. In every one of these positions, she has been truly amazed by the unique needs, barriers and resilience present in people, communities and the environment in which we live.
Autumn's most common feedback is that she seems to have deeper understanding of what it means to strive for heal from a traumatic incident, use disorders, narcissistic abuse, betrayal trauma and codependency because she's been there and knows the practical skills it takes to rise above. Folks who have been in counseling for over two decades find themselves breaking though with her embodied trauma informed practices. Her combined knowledge, skills and experience have been an absolute game changer and life saver for many.
But she doesn't stop there though, she creates whole communities of support like the Diverse Paths to Wellness group online, The Women With PTSD group online and the Coach/Therapy Collective and volunteers each week to bring solutions based messages to 1000's of people. She is on a mission to improve, enhance and offer diverse solutions to the diverse people we find on these journey to recovery.
She works hard to assist individuals to improve their health and wellness, increase their quality of life, and strive to reach their full potential. She has helped 100's of people achieve and maintain their wellness and life goals.
